Moral Dichotomies

The very fabric of our society got intoxicated by our self contradicting morality towards minorities. The acute symptoms of reactionary and self-appointed-public avenger type macho behaviors favor the use of violence and grave inhuman indifferent morality. The point to ponder is that the ideas that were considered extreme now constitute mainstream ideological flux. I am talking about our self-negating arguments which appear constantly in the discourse with minorities.
The most of us are indulged in the vicious circular reasoning, i.e., we are Muslims (here it means the orthodox Sunnis) so we are best, we are best so we must be the Muslims. Our every brutal logic to our savage behavior is as fallible as the phrase ‘square-circle’. Here are some commonly used square-circle type cyber-jihadist view points.
Islam respects the minority rights as it has offered them some cheap life-long packages like
·         They can observe their rituals but cannot preach their faith.
·         We reserve every right to criticize Jews, Christians and especially off course Hindus but we cannot listen against our beliefs.
·         For the same reasons we can ridicule and/or even humiliate Hindus in our text books and we have every right to call our rest rooms ‘Qadiani House’ but we cannot tolerate such stupid slogans for our beloved-ones. We can make a fan page on facebook naming ‘Draw a holocaust Day’.
·         Mahmood Ghaznavi was our typical super macho hero because he fabulously sabotaged the Somnath temple in seventeen heroic and historic raids and changed the course of history BUT B.J.P was monstrous on burning the Babri Mosque.
·         Babar and Akbar in India, Abdul Rehman of Umayyad, and Tariq Bin Ziad in Spain were saviors of their inhabitants while the British and the Americans established a capitalistic monarchical exploitation in the whole world.
·         Muslim mother obviously gives birth to a Muslim child, a Christian can bear a Christian child but a Qadiyani family has to cherish an orthodox sunni child.
·         We established Arabic the official language on the half part of the world obviously for our managerial convenience (and perhaps for ‘swab-e-jaria’) but the British conspired against us by establishing the English.
·          Jews, Christians wants to snatch and destroy every grain of our identity by their political exploitation and cultural war but Muslims made a valuable historic contribution to the savage people of Spain, Medieval Asia, Africa and whole Indian sub-continent by establishing justice, morality, higher education and new branded Islam.
·         Muslims imposed tax on non-Muslims, i.e., Khiraj (different from jizia and about 50% of the total agricultural production from the occupied land) is justified. East India Company’s loot in the sub-continent was a brutal exploitation on the ground of natural morality.
·         Europeans pirated our fantastic work on science and laid the very foundation of Industrial and scientific revolution. But Muslims contributed to the Greek knowledge by translating their out-dated work.
·         We wanted to establish a socio-politico-economic system based on justice and natural morality so we bred the world’s largest army of our time. But nobody else like Britain or America has any right to do that because they want to make the world slave.
These are some  snapshots of the society which aspires to be the chosen people on the God’s Land and to rule the world for one more time but (luckily and thanks to God for that) they got no chance for that. The titanic and bulky social structure, I am afraid, will consume itself in the delusion of self-righteousness. But I hope (what else we can do.) that someday Muslim civilization will come out of the somnambulist moral dichotomist condition and constructs herself on the sound realities of the real world. I hope that humanity will receive the actual message of Islam then we can hope that world will feel a little safer and little happier in the near future.

  5. great!!
for a moment i thought it was NFP. :)
one point to reconsider is that we cannot compare the rule of british or americans

with the rule of muslims in the medieval era.despite all their shortcomings, wherever

muslims went, they brought with them a culture of prosperity, peace, religious tolerance

and harmony.a prominent example is the mughal era in which a society comprising of

different faiths prospered without any ethnic or communal conflicts.on the contrary,

wherever western powers went, they brought a culture of hatred, division, ethnic and

    communal conflicts and ultimately destruction.
as we all know that societies progress on the virtues like justice, peace and

tolerance.since those societies flourished, it does prove that these virtues were

dominant in those societies.no wonder that due to these virtues, india was the golden

sparrow of the world generating 25%of the world's wealth.
dharampura(a spot besides our UET)was so named because people from different

religions gather there for inter religion debates.such was the level of tolerance in

    those societies.

  6. it was the same time when the europe was throwing people in fire alive on allegations

of witchcraft just because they dont agree with the orthodox existing mindset.
it is only after the arrival of british that conflicts based on religion, ethnicity

and other differences begin to prevail in the society thanks to the Machiavelli's

doctrine of divide and rule.and this scenario is still prevailing rather increasing

exponentially because the system operating in the society is still the same.we dont

have any independent political, social and economic structure even after 60 years of

the departure of british.everything is the same. only difference is that the

complexion of ruling elite is changed from white to brown.the soul objective of this

system is exploitation of the masses and domination of a small class.masses are

deprived of their basic rights while that ruling class(comprising of civil and

military bureaucracy, feudals, capitalists, religious and liberal political parties and

pseudo intellectuals) enjoy all the perks and privileges.now, to sustain such an

exploitative system, it is mandatory to create intolerance and conflicts among the

society so that the masses remain busy in fighting with each other rather than

fighting for their rights and progress of the whole nation.religion is used as tool

to achieve this objective.so the point to understand is that religious exploitation

and misinterpretation is just a tool of the system to achieve its goals.
and this scenario is not specific to us.around the globe, wherever they went results

are the same.whether it is subcontinent or africa or china or nicaragua or chili etc.

  7. most of these states like us are still in darkness and misery.only those states have

come out of this darkness and progressed who have researched their roots and then

built a structure on them and gained independence from the foreign influence.
now the important thing is that wherever they went, they rewrote the history of that

region.the history was manipulated in such a way that the society is cut away from

its past.hatred and inferiority complex about their past is created by amplifying the

minor negatives and hiding the major positives.
just as you wrote that superiority complex takes you to an unrealistic and irrational

mindset, in the same way inferiority complex takes you to hopelessness and

frustration.it deprives a nation of its will power to strive for betterment.its faith

on anything beautiful and beneficent is destroyed.as a result, whole nation becomes

idle.individualistic mindset deepens in the society.no collective practical effort

for betterment is initiated or encouraged because people have compromised with the

status-quo.they cannot even imagine that something other than this ugliness can

exist.then what happens??just what is happening in our country.
last thing..this misinterpretation and manipulation of history serves two purposes.
1: it gives a justification to those who are exploiting and destroying other

countries and their resources.they (and their paid or unpaid lawyers)propagate the

concept that there is nothing strange if a superpower is killing millions of

innocents, destroying dozens of countries just for the sake of energy resources and

strategic depth.it has always happened in the past.real art is how they equate the

conquering of gulf, africa, spain, subcontinent and the overturn of these societies into

progressive and prosperous regions to the conquering of iraq, afghanistan, subcontinent

etc and their overturn into heaps of destruction.
as a result, the belief of a normal human being about justice, freedom, peace and human

    rights is strongly shattered.
2:as discussed earlier, it prevents every oppressed nation from striving for its

independence and progress and getting rid of domestic and foreign exploitation.

  8. another important point to rethink is that the progressive era of the west is not

more than 300years old.before that was the dark ages so no need to discuss about

it.but even in these 300years of "enlightenment", they have inflicted worst

catastrophes on humanity.the african slavery, the rise of mercantile capitalism, dozens

of bloody wars, the economic and social exploitation of other nations, the two world

wars, with the first one claiming more than 20million people and the second one

claiming about 50million people with the gold medals of Hiroshima and Nagasaki are

just a few highlights.their brutalities and dark deeds are still in progress.and only

300years after their rule, humanity is crying for a change.a change in

moral, social, economic and political concepts.but despite all of this, they are not

ashamed as a nation.every american, french, british german etc is proud that he is an

american, french british or german.if a german is not ashamed of hitler or an american

of bush or regan and are proud of what they have contibuted to the humanity, why are

we so ashamed despite our tremendous contribution to humanity.
it always amazes me that despite having such a dark history and even present, they

are not at all ashamed or guilty.
but we, a nation with a golden era of thousand years(which even our enemies cannot

deny), are so ashamed of our past as if we are the greatest sinners of the planet and

rest are all innocent.all the wrongs on the planet are due to us.we are b-grade

humans and it is fair if we are exploited, murdered, invaded or kept in

    darkness,igrnorance,misery and poverty.
every living nation takes pride in its past glories, rectifies its mistakes and build

a better future.there is no other way out..

  9. Lord Macaulay said about the subcontinet in the early part of 19th century:
"I have traveled across the length and breadth of India and I have not seen one person who is a beggar, who is a thief. Such wealth I have seen in this country, such high moral values, people of such calibre, that I do not think we would ever conquer this country, unless we break the very backbone of this nation, which is her spiritual and cultural heritage, and, therefore, I propose that we replace her old and ancient education system, her culture, for if the Indians think that all that is foreign and English is good and greater than their own, they will lose their self-esteem, their native self-culture and they will become what we want them, a truly dominated nation."
now keep reading this statement and examine what happened here during the past 200 years.
every word of his statement is put to reality one way or the other and is still the case.
